About GSS Doors
GSS Doors, also known as Guardian Security Structures, specializes in custom security doors and related protection solutions for homes, safe rooms, commercial buildings and secure facilities.
We help homeowners, architects, builders, contractors and security professionals select door systems that balance tested security performance, practical operation and architectural design. Every project is approached individually because the right solution depends on more than the appearance or strength of the door alone.
Who We Are
GSS Doors is the security-door division of Guardian Security Structures, focused on helping residential, commercial and secure-facility clients incorporate tested physical security into real-world construction. Based in Montana, we work with homeowners, architects, contractors and security professionals on projects throughout the United States and Canada.
Our role goes beyond supplying a heavy door. We help coordinate the door assembly, locking system, opening conditions and available protection options so the selected system makes sense for the way the space will actually be used.
Security Built Around the Complete Opening
A security door is only one part of a protected opening. The door leaf, frame, hinges, locking system, anchorage and surrounding wall construction must work together to support the intended level of protection.
Our doors are supplied as complete, pre-hung door and frame assemblies. This allows the major components to be designed and configured as a system rather than relying on a stronger lock installed in a conventional door and frame.
We help clients consider the entire opening, including its location, wall construction, intended use, access requirements and anticipated security concerns.

Embassy and Fortress Security Door Systems
GSS Doors offers two primary security-door platforms. The Embassy Series provides FE/5 and RC3 protection for residential and other security-conscious applications, while the Fortress Series provides FE/15 and RC4 performance for projects requiring a higher level of forced-entry resistance.
Both series can be configured around the project’s architectural, access-control and available ballistic-protection requirements.
Protection Without an Institutional Appearance
Security should not require sacrificing the architectural character of a property. Our doors can be customized with wood veneers, decorative milling, architectural panels, paint colors, glazing and selected hardware.
These finishing options allow the reinforced construction to be incorporated into traditional, contemporary and custom interiors. Depending on the project, the finished door can resemble a high-end residential entrance while concealing the security components within the opening.

A Project-Specific Approach
Security requirements vary considerably between projects. Before recommending a configuration, we consider information such as:
- The intended use of the protected space
- Exterior or interior installation
- Required forced-entry classification
- Ballistic protection requirements, when applicable
- Rough-opening dimensions and wall construction
- Door swing and handing
- Mechanical or electronic access preferences
- Finish, glazing and architectural requirements
- Project location and installation conditions
Configurations can also be coordinated around mechanical or electronic access requirements, including the ISEO/Fiam X1R system.
Addressing these details early helps reduce conflicts between the selected door, surrounding construction, access-control equipment and finished design.

Tell us what you are protecting, how the opening will be used and what level of security you are considering. We will help identify the next steps and the project information needed to move forward.
