Forced Entry Resistant High Security Doors
The Fortress Series was tested at NTS Chesapeake in Belcamp, MD to the (DOS) US State Department Standard SD-STD.01.01 REV.G FE/15 forced entry standard at the 15 minute level and at the iFT Rosenheim laboratory and was awarded a resistance class 4 (RC 4) rating. This certifies that the Fortress series can withstand entry from highly skilled attackers using heavy-duty tools such as crowbars, sledge hammers, axes, wedges, saws, steel cutting pliers, and power drills. The Fortress series can be upgraded to include FB4 & UL 752 level 3 ballistic resistance ranging from small handgun fire to FB6 & UL 752 level 8 assault rifles. The door is suitable for government offices, commercial buildings, private homes, and apartments.

What's in a Fortress door?
Security Class 4 (RC 4) under European Standard EN 1627:2011 The Fortress series high-security door was tested in Germany at the renowned iFT Rosenheim laboratory and was awarded a Security Class 4 (RC 4) rating, the highest that exists, according to EN 1627:2011. This certifies that the Shield Premium door can withstand entry from highly skilled attackers using heavy-duty tools such as crowbars, hammers, axes, saws, steel cutting pliers, and power drills. The door is so secure that during testing, the engineers at iFT Rosenheim gave up trying to penetrate the door after 77 minutes of machine time. The Shield Premium door can be upgraded to include ballistic resistance ranging from small handgun fire to assault rifles (FB4, FB6). The door is suitable for government offices, commercial buildings, private homes, and apartments. Fortress doors are designed to help create a highly secure environment for areas with elevated threat profiles or security challenges, providing complete protection against burglary or forced entry. Its 3.6-inch thick door leaf, patented design, and unique security features are the result of years of research, development, and testing against a wide variety of burglary methods. Additionally, the door was tested for internal and external penetration to ensure that it is as secure from the inside as from the outside. Discrete Security is hidden in our design. Fortress Safe Room Door characteristics:
Safe
Specially bent L-shaped 115 mm wide door frame is not only wider than that of ordinary armored door, but also has even 8 bending edges that reinforce the frame. The frame is fixed in the aperture by 16 plugs, which are protected from cutting by steel liners of 24 mm, thus there is no need to fix the door in concrete. Internal leaf construction is reinforced by rigid edges that do not allow deforming the door easily during burglary. At least one of the locks installed in this door model must be no lower than 7th security class. The locks are installed in protective steel boxes. The armored lock is protected by 2 drilling resistant manganese plates and each lock pin is protected by a separate protective sleeve in the door frame.
Excellent sound insulation and shutting out the odors
Due to full thermal insulation of the door structure by 60 mm rock wool, the sound insulation of the door SKYDAS PREMIUM is even 45 dB.
This door is especially tight and therefore, perfectly shuts out the odors and smoke from the outside.
Fire resistant
With additional fire resistant components the Fortress series can protect from fire for as long as 90 minutes and withstand the temperature of 1000ºC. The tests were carried out and the certificate NR. 271 36831 was issued in IFT Rosenheim (Germany) testing laboratory. Fire resistance is especially relevant in apartment buildings, where fire can spread from the neighbors or when the door is set on fire, and in private houses - from the boiler room or garage.
Durable and lasting, convenient to use
All Fortress series doors are manufactured by especially precise programmed machines Amada, which can process metal with the precision of 0.1 mm, therefore, their construction is precisely accurate and straight. As hinges with supporting bearings are used, the doors are easy to open and close, despite the of heavier weight characteristic to metal doors. The tests indicated that after 200,000 cycles of opening and closing, the construction of the door remained completely intact.
As the internal construction of the door has no closed cavities, the entire metal construction is covered in powder coating, which ensures long-term surface protection from corrosion.
The door finish is made of waterproof, certified Belgian board Umidax HLS, which can be milled without bothering about bulging, flaking or losing its characteristics. The board is painted in your selected polyurethane paint.
Under necessity, door finish can be easily replaced.
It is recommended to use galvanized steel for entrance door construction.
